Romale is a synthetic shiny tape for making bags. This is the modern arrangement of Romale 5 that appeared in 1982. The tape is strong enough and at the same time thin, which makes it easy to pull it through the Hamanaka Net. Romale allows to make beautiful and unusual products: from stylish everyday items to elegant evening accessories.
To make a bag you just need to pull the tape through the net. You can choose the net from the Hamanaka net assortment in the "Bag canvas" section. There are transparent, black and beige, as well as red, gold and silver nets, which combine beautifully with shiny Romale. All nets with a eye size of 6 mm and higher can be used with Romale (tape width is 5 mm).
Also you will need Hamanaka double-sided tape to secure the ends - it is thin and transparent, so it is great for this, almost invisible.
Examples of work using Romale and free Japanese patterns can be found here.
In our assortment we also have books with patterns specially for Romale. It is often combined with Tube Berry tape - they are similar, but with different color and texture, which allows to create even more beautiful combinations.
One 30 m roll of Romale is enough for medium size bag 26*19*8 cm (example). Consumption very much depends on the method of weaving and the number of weaves.
